First off let me say this, I have three computers on my desk right now. They are old, older and kinda new. I spent most of my time on them and they frustrate the hell out of me. Sorry about the bad word. I name my puters. First the oldest is "Dell" he is getting ready for the retirement home but still is a contributin member of his genre. Next comes "Lance" who lives strong and carries the workload. He has been a desktop for sometime now, however he is actually a laptop that I turned the battery over to Sue sometime ago. The new kid on the block known as "Hugh" is just a baby. He is both frustratin and nasty but has potential. The thing that really bugs me is that he won't run certain programs. For instance he did not like Battle Stations: Pacific at all and wouldnot allow even an upgrade. Next he balked at Second and Ten football. Can't seem to get it right. Well I am starting to get to know this kid. Tom came over and gave it a dose of TMG basektball which is fine. I got Sims3 and created twin girls to manage(OOH LA LA). Stratomatic has not been tried until now. Well first off College Football got the nod and Penn State defeated USC in a close game. I got itchy for more. So SOM basektball was tried and worked fine. I must report that I loaded two older seasons (1970-71 and 1966-67) First game as part of the Tri-State Tourney was the Indiana Pacers at Kentucky Colonels. Indiana built up a 17 point lead only to lose 106-101. George McGinnis had 28 in the losing effort. Next up was the 66 Cincinnati Royals against the St.Louis Hawks (I know that ruins the Tri-State title but then the Big 10 is actually 11). Cincinnati built up a 20 point lead and finished with a 111-106 victory. Oscar had 25 points to go with 14 assists while Jerry Lucas had 23 and 25 rebounds. Also Adrian Smith bagged 20. StLouis was led by Lou Hudson with 21. Since this is a tournament the next round is St.Louis against Indiana Pacers and Kentucky versus Cincinnati in NBA rules from 1966. It was good to see som Strat on Hugh but TMG is worlds better plus it has cool cards. the 1995 Ford Tarus better known as the Deer Slayer from Lexington fame has gone to the big parking lot in the sky. The engine seized up (Oil Mikey please)and the transmission housing broke. We bid a fond farwell to a vehicle that served us for many years faithfully. Goodbye ol Paint.
