Blagojevich Removed from office

Well after much ado I have found my way back here. I don't have my laptop back yet but I expect it and the Van before 2010. I watched The Governor of Illinois get removed from office today. He lost by a vote of 59-0. Which wasn't as bad as the high school girls team that lost 100-0 last week and it got the coach fired. I listened to most of the state senators explain the Gov. had in fact comitted many heinous acts. One seemed to be a person paying a bill to Illinois was required to make a campaign donation. Further he solicited many play for pay contributions from lobbyists. The big one was trying to sell Barack Obama's US Senate seat to the highest bidder. I guess he even considered Opra Winfrey. I watched because I have never actually seen an impeachment. It was as the senators said sad, embarassing, and necessary work. Since Illinois is a neighbor it must be like the neighbors spouse being divorced and arrested. Not a pretty picture. Well Shawn and family plus Russ and Lynn are coming over for the Superbowl party. I am not a hugh fan of the game but as Shawn said its a time for family and large samiches. Tim has settled on the south side working at Blockbuster near his home with Pat. Pat is working and going to school for his last semester. He will get an IU degree like me and Suzanne has a Purdue degree. All of us however are grads of IUPUI. I am proud of that! Susan is working to retire this season, and I hope she make it. I am having trouble navagating this thing since I am on a much slower, and clumsy machine. I will attempt to press on. I don't seem to be able to go back only foward. Well maybe I should end. The new Governor of Illinois is Patrick Joseph Quinn a 60 year old Lt. Gov who became LtGov seperate of the former one.
