The Dream
I just woke up from a dream I was having. It was neat. I have noticed that being older ususlly means better dreams in every way. This time it was an interacitve novel except that I was for whom the prodution was being put on for. This was a turn of the century novel about a young man who was a gambler, risk taker, but handsome and debonair. He consistently made choices that drove him to the top or the bottom. In the dream he meets a beautiful next-door type woman who catches his fancy. They have a breif but meaningful relationship but of course he moves on for the next score. She of course is hurt but pulls herself together to become an actress-singer. Now the best part of this novel is that I could stop and go back to pick up the action where ever I wanted. When these two broke up I chased our hero and he personally told me that he was bored and needed something more exciting. Again I went back to find her. She was hard to track but after several tries like when I came upon the heros father alone and broke doing some meanial job. Another time a porter of sorts gave me like a program of this movie which helped me track the heroine. I finally found her on the set of a performance. She actually sat down to talk with me and told me about her being broken hearted abut losing our hero but it had made her pick herself up and move on. She was still in love with him but glad he was gone. I spoke one more time with her as I was trying to get out of the dream by looking for my parents. (as usual I'm lost) Anyway the scenery was great. The characters talking to me was the best, and I truly enjoyed my dreamgoing experience. By the way the price for this entertainment was only some late night snacks.
