Goodbye MR Comcast
Well the deed is done. Comcast is gone from our home and we are happy to rid ourselves of them. In the begining the were the way to go but after cutting channels, raising prices, and forcing us into digital, we had had enough. Thus Direct TV is what is on TV and Hancock County Telecom is whats online. So far the change is for the better. DTV has more channels and more sports and HCT has just as fast service. The installers were very nice although the Direct did not have an ID card. Took Dad to the grocery yesterday and he was very happy chatting about the Reds and telling me stories about his cousin Dick Fletcher. Mike gets to be an usher at a wedding tomorrow inbetween working two jobs and getting no sleep. Welcome to the real world my son. Pat competes in another Magic tourney this weekend with his wife Suzanne telling him "go win me a trip to Amsterdam". Brother Shawn commented "only thing there is Beer,Drugs, and Whores" Sounds like a cool place to me. Still no word on what Tim's vocation in the Army will be. Today is 15 May which traditionally is Pole day at the 500. Went to it for many years but now I don't know hardly any of the drivers and there is no pole day today because it is now scheduled for next weekend. NASCAR has opened a can of whoopass on the 500 and it shows. Go Jeff and Tony!!
