Well to alll my faithfull readers I am still alive. Yes don't setup the bonfire just yet. It has been almost a month and a half since my last post. Guess I'm slipping in my old age. Yesterday I turned 62, which according to my dad,who turns 90 in a few days is the paying birthday. In about two months I will reciev my first social security check. Yahoo. The picture insert is of my newest grandaughter Ashlynn Kennedy Stone. She was born 12 aug 2010 weighing in a 6 pounds 9 ounces. She is a pretty baby with long fingers and toes grandma Sue thinks she has piano potential. Tim is at Ft.Eustis in Virginia learning how to work on Apache Helicopters but was allowed to come home for Ashlynn's birth. Next week is labor day and he will be back then also. I thought that by not blogging I would begin to write that best selling novel I always wanted to write but no such luck. Shawn, Pat and Mikie are also fine they seem to be doing something all of the time. Shawn is back in school at Ivy Tech for Criminal Justice, Mike and his woman Ashley went with us to Kings Island a couple of weeks ago. Boy was it hot that day nearly passed out and I was driving a scooter!! Pat and Suzzane just got back from Disney world in Fla where they also took a disney cruise with her parents Jim and Joyce. I have been reading Harry Potter books and have plowed my way thru 3 1/2 thus far. I am on The Goblet of Fire just now and thoroughly enjoying them back to back like that. My big birthday gift was a nook and I have downloaded 15 books so far. Well Mr Tidrow what was the first book you loaded on your nook? answer: HOLY BIBLE at a cost of $1.I can take it over to dad's house and read it to him. By the way he was just to Veterans Hospital and got a clean bill of health, plus they told him that since he was legally blind he get all his services for free. He said his first thing that he wanted was a blood preassure monitor that talks since he can't see it.
