Heart PVC

Premature ventricular contraction (PVC), also known as ventricular premature beat (VPB) or extrasystole, is a form of irregular heartbeat in which the ventricle contracts prematurely. This may be perceived as a "skipped beat" or as palpitations. The depolarization of cardiac myocytes begins in the ventricle instead of the usual place, the sinoatrial node. PVCs can be a useful natural probe, since they induce Heart rate turbulence whose characteristics can be measured, and used to evaluate cardiac function.Among the many different types of irregular heart beats, few have created as much consternation and confusion -- among both doctors and patients -- as premature ventricular complexes (PVCs). In various doctors’ offices, and at various points in history, PVCs have been regarded as either harbingers of impending death, or as completely benign phenomena that require no attention whatsoever. On occasion, eliminating caffeine intake, as well as tobacco and alcohol usage, may reduce the frequency of PVCs, and these measures should be tried. For some patients, using beta blockers (drugs that block the effect of adrenaline) might reduce arrhythmias.

Doc says I had a good heart test but that I got a few PVCs, which were described as occasional premature heartbeat or rare 2 couplets. She said I should come in for a visit. The above research was done shortly thereafter. Excess exercise,Caffine, and Anxiety were listed as possible causes.
I guess we will have to wait and see. Until then don't piss me off, hear me!

If I don't piss you off, something will. So forget about it.

BTW, Meijer is out of caffeine-free diet. Marsh has plenty at a lower price.
