Abe Lincoln is now 200 years and 9days old. He had his body moved multiple times after his demise. Once because they were building his monument, once because it was crumbling, one to rebury him after a theft attempt, once to new monument, once because townsfolk thought he might be kidnapped again, and once again to put him back.All in all for a dead guy he seems to have moved a lot. The ill-fated kidnap attempt was really moronic. Two guys from Chicago (Why are these slezy types from Chitown) were counterfitters. Their cheif ingraver was so good the feds in the 19th century stopped making 5ers. However they caught him and jailed him. The aforementioned guys were upset as their business was down the tubes. They then hatched this plot to steal Uncle Abe and get a nice reward in the process. By the time they were ready to do this 2 feds had infiltrated the gang. Now imagine 2 guys and 2 feds trying to steal AL. Well the two guys that worked for the feds tried to alert the Feds stationed around the monument. Meanwhile the feds started shooting, at each other of course, and the bad guys got away. One of them owned a bar in Chicago and thats where they were arrested. It might be on Worlds Dummest Crimes. Anywho I have not dropped of the face of the earth but still waiting on my laptop to return. So good to see yall and I hope to be back soon.
